When the Warriors played the Storm last week, the first 20 minutes of that game was the best I’ve seen the Wahs play. Although they ended up losing to the top-of-the-table team (Storm), you could see that if they played like that each week, they could possibly make the finals.
Fast forward a week to today, and it looked like the Wahs had never touched a ball in their entire lives. To concede 11 tries to a team that had only won 3 games leading up to this is mind-boggling.
So, what went wrong? Basically everything. 13 errors and 6 penalties conceded—it looked like they never wanted to be there in the first place. I do agree that the sin bin to Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was a bit harsh, but the game was already gone by that point; they didn’t look like they were going to comeback and win that game.
From being so consistent last year to being so inconsistent this year, I just hope and pray they find their consistency again soon so they can break into the Top 8. Hopefully, their game against the Broncos next week can help them kickstart their consistency again.
